Fibula
The fibula is one of two bones in the lower leg. It lies medial to the tibia and unlike the tibia is not a weight bearing bone.
It forms three main joints, its articulations are:
- With the lateral condyle of the tibia to form the proximal tibiofibular joint 
- With the fibular notch of the tibia to form the distal tibiofibular joint 
- With the talus of the foot to form the ankle joint.
