Humerus
The humerus is a long bone in the upper limbs that extends from the shoulder to the elbow.

Clinical Notes:
- The mostly commonly fractured region of the humerus is it’s surgical head (this is also it’s weakest point). A fracture in this region can also cause trauma to the axillary nerve and the anterior and posterior circumflex arteries due to their proximity. 
- The following structures are in close proximity with each other and a fracture at any of the following regions may also cause trauma to the nerve in its vicinity: - Medial epicondyle with ulnar nerve 
- Radial groove with radial nerve 
- Distal humerus with median nerve
